As reported from VG247, the game has also gone straight to the top of the UK all-format charts, knocking off BioShock 2 from the top spot, who are now positioned in 3rd behind Ubisoft’s Just Dance.

While the game may have some issues with its multiplayer segment, its no doubt that the game is very enjoyable to play.

well, elmo thinks so but thats's his opinion. i think the game is crap. if the AVP movies never existed this game would struggle to sell. so check ign and see what they rated the game and read their reviews.

Well, the main problem with the game is basically the melee attack (for example: running past your prey when your an alien because your too fast), but if you get used to it, its a fun game.

Well I'm a huge fan of AvP, so I was looking forward to this game.

However, I was quickly disappointed when I saw the first gameplay videos: graphics looked subpar, the environements looked crappy and the animations weren't convincing.

When the demo came out, I downloaded right away (even before BC2), hoping for the best..
I tried the game and was really disappointed.. it's a crappy game: terrible graphics, crappy commands etc etc..

I won't buy it, that's for sure.
I can only see myself buying this when I find it in the bargain bin for 10 bucks or so - and even then, only if there's nothing else worth playing around - but just because it's AVP.

To be honest, I think this is one of those games you buy a have fun with for a coupel days, then sell it and forget about it before the week is over..
Rent it if you must, don't buy it.
