This event happened on the 20th of February and to be quite honest i think there is something going on because ive been poking around and ive found that numerous, and i mean NUMEROUS, people have came across the same problem within the past few weeks. My buddy just got the YLoD lastnight which i find weird because i just got one too and i dont think that this was just a strange coincidence.

Im really not sure what the deal is but unless you can pull $400 out of your ass and buy a new one next day this can be very frustrating considering the amount that you paid and also the amount of time youve put into your baby.

And if youre thinking that i didnt take care of it and thats why get it out of your head because my PS3 is my pride and joy and i treat it better than i treat my girlfriend lol...

its caused by the solder cracking under the heatsinks on the mother board.Mine got ylod last week but i fixed it

Yea i know thats a reason but why are hundred of peoples systems just frying for nooo reason. I bought a slim 250GB gonna fix my old one (try to) tonight or tomorrow
