(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); What's up NGU. Re-Insertion here in need of some advice. I am planning on purchasing some Tritton headphones, but wasn't sure which model to get.

First off, I need these to be ps3 and normal headphone compatible. The two model's I am considering are the Ax Pro and the Ax720. Both look nice to me, about a $40 price difference. From what I understand, the Pro's have some nice added features, but at the same time I have read some negative reviews about the Pro's. A lot of people claim the pro model dies on them, or has functionality problems.

The Ax720's look nice, are a little cheaper and honestly are what I am leaning towards right now. I don't like that they are white, but if color is my only issue, then I should be good. I need some advice from people who actually own one of these devices, to help me make my decision

Rep will be given to anyone who helps me out in making my decision. Thanks in advance.

I heave been told that the 720s aren't actually surround sound, just virtual surround sound. The pros apparently have great audio, but I haven't heard anyone say they break. I have the Sharkoon X-Tatic V3s which are great, are PS3 compatible, and are very similar to the Trittons. Hope I helped.

Wolves are superior.
I do not own either, but am thinking of getting the Ax720's. My best mate has them, i'm round his alot and get to use them. They are awesome. Personally that's what i'd recomend, but of course it's your decision.

I've got astros and there amazing, you actually can't lose a FFA match with them, if your spending $150 you might as well splash out $50 and get a better set Winky Winky

(I started off wanting p21's lol and this logic got me astros)

Astros are £200 here in UK, in US, you're looking at $250, then the optical and PS3 mic cable on top.

Is the astro site the only place to buy them? I saw the mixamp and headphone combo for $250, what else would i need to buy if I got these?

The Astro's might be pro but if you actually sit there for a second and think about it do you really wanna spend all that money for a Headset thats not much better than the P21's or the 720's...

I was gonna get the 720's yesterday but a few of my friends have had problems with the Mics playing up so i stuck with my P21's.

I have tried the Pro's & 720's on various ocassions while at a friends and regardless of the Mic problems some have the 720's are the way to go out of the 2.
