(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I bought i new internal hard drive for my ps3 that is 250 gb..

So i took my old ps3 hard drive out to put the new hard drive in, and before i could do that i had to take the 4 screws out of the old hard drive..

After i get to the last screw it seems that Sony screwed this rascal a lil too tight.. So after trying several different types of screwdrivers my last screw to my hard drive is now stipped..

Is there a way to get this last screw off so i can switch hard drives?

The screw is stripped pretty bad.. looks like a circle now..

Well one tech person said they can cut off the one screw and when i screw the new hard drive in i would have 3 screws instead of 4..

Would that be good enough or would i need 4 for it to be tight enough?

Take a drill, get a drillbit made for cutting through wood roughly the same size as the screw THREADS, now just drill it out.

The head of the screw sticks out use some plyers to unscrew it

I appreciate all the answers.. What i ended up doing was breaking the metal that holds the screws together, so the screw is still in the ps3 orginal hard drive..

I was able to install the new 250gb and it's working fine so far..
