I hated the demo, specially the controls. Is the full game any good?

I've got the game did not play the demo but went out saw that it was only £40 for a special ed version which you get some free dlc with a bought that, games awesome, the jet fighters are amazing and the base jumping is amazing. best single player action game I've played in ages.
