I would say yes if you have friends that play it

I personally HATE IT!! I know its not a third person game but, when I played the beta, it seriously felt like I was playing SOCOM. I also dont like it because your guy moves WWWWWAAAAAAYYYYY too much. I just dont like it. OH!! And the ONLY F'N reason people think its "so cool" is because, theres 256 people in one game! SERIOUSLY!? WOOP DE FU**IN DO!! Other than that, its just a regular FPS game like cod and bf.

MAG? More like LAG.

The beta sucked but the full game is one of the best games i ever played =)

It is worth getting if it's the type of game you're looking for. It is a serious teamwork based game. When you first start playing, you need to have a mindset to follow and learn. It's nothing like MW2 or BFBC2 where you can essentially dominate a match by yourself. It just won't happen in MAG. Your squad can dominate, and that's the point of the game. Teamwork dominates. I highly suggest that if you get this game, and you want to learn, try to join a clan. And for this, I offer you an open invitation to our clan in Valor (well, we'll join SVER soon as we're switching over so we can do the whole rotation). We are a closeknit clan that enjoys teamwork, and we follow the guys who know the most (and I'm pretty good, but I know my role).

Don't get this game if you expect to be great at it right away.
Don't get this game if you expect to be some sort of leader in it right away.
Don't get this game expecting to find all the cheap ways to win.

Do get this game if you enjoy true battle tactics.
Do get this game if you enjoy playing on a large scale force.
Do get this game if you enjoy overtaking or defending a battlefield with complex objectives.
Do get this game is you really want to enjoy a full teammwork experience.

DONT GET THIS GAME IF YOU WANT TO ENTER INTO IT WITH A MW2 ATTITUDE.

1.) He only played the BETA. He doesn't know sh**about the regular game.

2.) He obviously has never heard of something called controller sensativity settings.

3.) And he hasn't seen the other matches that have 128 people or 64 people. 256 is only ONE game mode.

U can always level what are you talking about? This is a team work based game if you can work with your teamates then yes its a very good game you can roll around with a well trained squad and dominated this game is about teamwork if your hoping to just run around and think you can kill everyone by yourself this is not the game for you. The key to mag is teamwork you have to find a good clan to join and you acuatlly start to win and kick ass you'll love the feeling over completing objectives and destroying that AAA gun. Overall a think its definitly worth getting there is no lag don-t listen to those people i rarely ever ever lag its not a problem in MAG. honestly i find it intense at some points, but then at toher points its so boring, the maps are so big u can run around and be in the wrong place for kills, or be right in the middle of the fight, honestly 256 players is too much for one game, thats why i like MW2 theres a normal amount of players which you can handle in one game, MAG is boring if most players dont have a mic aswell, imagine playing with 128 players and ur talking to urself lol

Well, the fights usually are focused around objectives, that's why you need to be AWARE at all times, even on large maps. Say some squad snuck behind you and is putting charges on things such as the sensor array, the mortar battery, the AA battery....there are announcements.

And as for the mic, that's understandable. That's why it's pretty imperative to do some networking in this game and actually join a clan, and not go solo. Most people have mics though, and so long as one person has a mic, that person can direct some info. Most people that have mics, are good. So listen to them.

Again, this game is about teamwork.



You're not supposed to handle it, YOUR TEAM is supposed to handle it.


Again, this game is not for the arcade FPS lovers who want to do their own thing. It's for people that love teamwork and organization, and above all, MASSIVE coordination. Follow the leaders, and if they're talking, LISTEN. They usually know what they're talking about.
