You can buy an adapter to use your monitor to play PS3. You will need: VIDEO: one vga or dvi adapter and one a regular hdmi cable with male ends. SOUN a sound system that accepts male rca plugs from your PS3, or a simple female-to-female rca adapter for sound, and a male rca-to-stereo headphone jack to hookup to external speakers. Some flatscreen PC monitors have dvi or vga outputs. Just make sure to buy the correct gender adapter.
