(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Epic’s Gears of War 3 could be heading to PS3 unless Microsoft is willing to increase the amount it pays for the series’ platform exclusivity – that’s according to leading industry psychic/analyst Michael Pachter.

Speaking of Gears of War’s current platform exclusivity in the latest edition of Gametrailers’ Pach-Attack, he explained:

“Epic don't regret it, because they're all very wealthy and they cut themselves a great deal. What I really meant was future versions of Gears are at least going to be negotiated to allow them to make them on multiplatform unless Microsoft pays even more.

“So the success of Gears allows Epic to squeeze even more money out of them for exclusives in the future.

“We'll see what Epic does, but I don't think you're going to get any new franchises after Gears that are console exclusives. Same thing – these guys all want to make money.”

personally id like to see Gears come to the ps3 screens as i do quite like the game.
But the bigger question is do you want to see this game in the ps3 world?

Gears of War2 was awesome I wish it was for both systems

i don't really care for the franchise. I realize thats probably just me but I'm getting tired of juiced up space Marines and over the top games like that I want more Silent hills and Rainbow Six Vegas's more realistic stuff if you know what I mean. However I do get the appeal of these games and understand it would be exciting for Some people.

i played it i dont really care for it but it with the news of Bungie going with Activison and if gears came to Ps3 360 would just about disappear no one would want to pay 50 a yr to play the same games for free on PS3 if it happens sucks for Microsoft

Not if Epic games contract has ended with Microsoft and PS3 is offering the money.

Always wanted to try GoW i watched my friend play but never really wanted to play then.. ^^
