LittleBigPlanet 2 Officially Announced With Release Time Period

The PSBlog has officially announced LittleBigPlanet 2 and also have (kinda) set a release date for it. It states that LitttleBigPlanet 2 will have a Winter 2010 release, just in time for the holiday season.

Also along with the announcement, they have released a new LittleBigPlanet 2 Trailer

So what can we expect from LBP2? LBP2 will also have a loads of new features, including revamped graphics, a fresh storyline, added accessories and equipment for Sackboy, and "much, much more"

There appear to be loads of new features and even more because Eric Levine writes that "trust me I’m only scratching the surface here!" after the above listed features.

So what do you guys think? Are you excited about a LBP Sequel? or will you be too distracted with Call of Duty: Black Ops to enjoy this surprisingly good game?

Dude I can't wait, I have LBP 1 and I spent alot of time on it (now all on COD ) but it was pretty freakin good when I didn't have games.

Cant wait for this one,I like littlebigplant the 1st one so i hope the 2nd one is good too..

Talking about kids who act all high-and-mighty on the internet. What are you, 14-15? You really think you have the right to judge those kids? Either you are a troll, or you are just too stubborn to connect to your inner child. Sure the game is kid friendly, but that doesn't mean it's a kid's game. It's a light-hearted game that's appropriate for the entire family. Is that a bad thing? And I don't recall anyone talking trash...(except you)

But ANYWAYS I do feel this is going to be a great game. The first amazed me for hours (would have been days, but I only got it 2-3 months ago). And if people could make calculators with the "minuscule" selection in LBP 1, imagine what they could do with LBP2... I've been growing bored with all the anger and frustration that comes with playing FPS games. (Because, quite frankly, I am not that good at them) Having a light-hearted game sprouting up in the mix of shooters should provide a great 4th quarter this year.

Off topic sort of, but does anyone know of current game saves/trophy hacks, etc. for LBP 1? Keep hearing mixed things about it...
