Once upon a time...

NextGenUpdate

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); No my PS3 is not dead lol. Okay well I've recently gameshared and acquired around 10 PSOne games. Yes I gameshared right and all that stuff. However when I try to play them I get this message. You cannot play this game at the current video output setting (80028F10) Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's probably something simple but I'm slow so post here or PM me if you have any clue what to do. +rep will be given if helpful.

i have your answer

Go to Display Settings then HDMI (or whatever your connection is) and choose Automactic, not Custom. I always had it on Custom before. Seems when you choose Automatic it allows the PS3 to select 50hz which is what you need for PAL games that don't support 60hz.

he says he doesent have a HD TV, but i dont know if that changes, maybe fanz is right.check it.
