E3 is still just about a week away, and so far Sony has already announced Killzone 3, InFamous 2, and Little Big Planet 2. Now can we add MotorStorm 3: San Francisco to this impressive list of sequels? Possibly, as French site PS3Gen has posted a number of leaked images purportedly from the new title.
As the supposed subtitle implies, these screens (if real) show the next MotorStorm will apparently be set in San Francisco, which would be a departure from the more nature-oriented settings of the first two games. On top of that, it's not just San Fran on any regular day, but evidently during the apocalypse, as buildings crumble around the cars mid-race.

This isn't the first rumor to bubble up about the existence of MotorStorm 3. Sony has previously registered a "motorstorm3.com" domain, and a NeoGAF user later released a picture that showed someone on their PSN friends list playing "MotorStorm 3: The First Playable."

As for whether these specific screens are real, well, that's impossible to confirm at the moment. Like so many rumors these days, we'll find out for sure when E3 starts June 15.
