This has happened to me a few times... but it was with accessing the PSN store. Just keep trying, but if it doesn't work after a while contact sony. BTW do you want the link to send sony messages?

Either you've been banned or they're going through maintenance.

PSN was down for maintenance yesterday in the UK and there doing it at different times for different places chances are your area is going through maintenance right now it should be back to normal in a few hours.

If he was banned he would know it because it would tell him in a message on the top right of his screen when he signed in.
