Okay i don't know how to convert the HDMI cable back to the orginnal settings. The reason i ask this becuase i have to make a video but i can't do it with a HDMI cable so i need it back to the standard format(red,yellow,white cables)


If anybody knows how to change it back please help. Post a reply message

go to dsiplay settings then change them from hdmi to scart

Ran in to this.. Make sure that you have both hdmi and scart plug in.the hdmi cord is on one tv input and the scart is on a different one tv input. So make the change on playstation viedo settings. When you make the switch remember that the scart is in a different tv input and need to be on the right input. Then except the changes and unplug the hdmi. Hope this works

unplug hdmi lead hook up ordinary lead and then hold the ps3 power button and you'll hear 3 beeps and display settings go back to normal

Step: 1
Connect HDMI & Composite Cords (Red, Yellow, & White)

Step: 2
Turn on the PS3 as well as Tv

Step: 3
Remain on the HDMI Selected input when turning the tv on.

Step: 4
Go into the setting that changes your video settings.

Step: 5
Change to scart or what ever its label as then it should prompt you to press yes or no i believe.

Step: 6
Change input to A/V or what ever your tv labels it as.

Step: 7
You should have everything switched off of HDMI.

Hope this helps, the post before this one works also but only on the 40gb, & 80gb.
