'it could not launch the start operation' (80010514)' ive cleaned the disc, the slot disc thing, turned the ps3 off and the back & the switch...and the worst thing is that my ps3s warrantys expired

read my sticky mon error codes , or
1. Load up a demo
2.Press the PS button
3. Click on the blu ray disc icon on the game section
4. The game should load up

I can't help you... But i would do what fraz did.. If it does not work call Sony.

This always happens to me..but I sometime turn off my ps3 and turn it on again and if not I try ejcting and putting it back again..

This has happened to me in the past, My laser broke though!

oh no wait i do but yea, most of the time the game reads just sometimes, but wen it does read it freezes like 10mins later

load up a demo
press the PS button
your XMB will apper
GO to when the game disc shows up and click X
the demo will quit out and load up your disc

you have tp send your ps3 to sony, OR open the ps3 up and fix it yourself. it looks easy to fix yourself BUT if you do open it and it doesn't fix the problem then sony will NOT even attempt to fix your ps3.
