Theres a lot of ways to make some $$$

You can help random strangers & story strangers
(Don't give them the $$ when it gives you an option)

play poker I won alot playing poker & raised my honor/legend as well
(cheating is a good thing to learn to do)

Steal it theres lots of people and banks just filled with $$$ go on a spree
then use a pardon to lose your bounty.
(make sure its worth using a pardon and don't use it for only $50 or something)

treasure hunting gives you a nice chunk of cash
(videos on youtube with locations of each treasure)

And just play the game the trophy is accumulative so you
don't need to have 10,000 in your pocket just all together
so you can spend the money you don't have to hold
on to it.

the fasted way ive found is to do this, find one of those guys who have a bird shooting comp with you, make a bet, and purposely lose the bet, he will then ask if u want to double, accept it again and continuously lose and re bet untill you have enough money to place one more bet, place this bet and then win the bet, you get all your money back, plus once you kill the guy and then loot his body, you will loot the same total amount of money that you have bet with him, its apparently possible to loot more than 10,000 of him

Hunting grizzlies in Tall Trees then selling hide and meats in mexico. I went to mexico with like 43 grizzly hearts. Needless to say i was set for cash.

Here is how i got it , go to armadillo and wait for a bounty that pays $400 for alive bounty and is very close to armadillo! then accept bounty then save at a campsite outside of armadilllo do the bounty then kill yourself or get others to kill u like kill an officer then it wlll restart the bounty but u will still have the money u earned rep this if it helped

Skin animals, pick flowers and play poker..and do the Bounties...Its just a trophy that comes over time
