This game follows the story of Ezio Auditore da firenze, from the previous game. He is now a master assassin in control of the assassin order. He can recruit and train young assassins to aid him. This game starts off set at the villa auditore, which is under attack from a new enemy Cesare Borgia (leader of the borgia clan) . During the battle Ezio's uncle, Mario, is killed and the Apple of Eden is taken by Borgia. After this event the rest of the story is set around Rome in 1503.

New features to this game are:

Being able to ride horses through the city, to help with escapes and assassinations.
The combat system has been improved.
New types of enemies
new weaponary. The enemy now have guns.
New physics in gameplay.

New to the series is now online multiplayer.

This looks like a vey addictive game type. No doubt several others will appear later on. This will be a great feature to stop people getting bored of the game after completing the story, unlike the previous games.

There is a beta for the game that you get when you pre-order the game from certain places. If someone could find a way to get the beta code for free, like the MoH beta, PM me or post on here

Nice i want to pre-order it for the beta code and extra online characters.

I'm not buying this to give Ubisoft a sale because they are milking the franchise. This was announced less than 6 months after AC II.

Please don't let this be like the annual BS coming out every holiday.

So I am missing something then, or do you have to pay for it in full to get the Beta code? They told me I would get the online characters when the game comes out, but didnt mention anything about a Beta

the beta was announced as PS3 exclusive at E3, its highly possible to be exclusive to playstation plus subscribers. no dates for the beta is known yet
