You must've screwed around with it alot, I've had mine for about a year and it didnt get YLOD. My bro has a ps3 since the 1st day didnt get YLOD.

The yellow light represents a hardware error. If you drop the console or something like that you might get a yellow light; even on a Slim.

i have never got a YLOD i have had 5 ps3's and never had that i even have a original 20gb and never gotten that

lol i have a 80G ps3 and only had 1 problem when i played MGS4 for 3 days straight... i think i fked up my video mem, i didnt have a cooler. anyways ps3 was cool about it and fixed it, never had a problem since
