I panic. I close the game. I click "Systemspreche > English" (back to English) but no! Everything else except my CoD5 trophies are in German. I can read like 1/4 of it. Any ideas?

lol whats wrong with having it in german? its the 2nd best language out there and besides pretty much everything on XMB is picture based so whats the problem?

Well you could always try deleting your save data?
