Supposably it is based of several stories from several troops over there and is showing support and spreading their stories around. I saw this on a video on the 360 dashboard. Not sure if I heard it right, but this is just like saying you won't buy any war game out there which is really what makes up most consoles now days.
It isn't really offending the troops nor is it dishonoring them, actually many soldiers like playing these games. It really depends on your view I guess. I don't support the war but that is a whole different topic. I'm not really sure how to describe it, these situations definitely depend on your view, and for 99% of most people they stick with their view when it comes to things like this.

I think you should try to desensitize a bit. It's a video game. If we cared about every little character in games, how far do you think any action games would come?
Do you play Grand Theft Auto? Surely, it's located in Vice City or Liberty City, but don't you think crime happens a lot that involves murder in real life, too? On a regular basis? I understand that it doesn't happen on the same unrealistic scale as GTA, but in big cities, things like that do happen.
My grandfather was killed in WW2. Does every WW2 game offend me? No. I know that I along with anyone else who has a reason to be offended by it (including a good... religion) has a reason to, but the fact is, you can't throw a little fit about it just because someone's marketing off of it. Think about movies and TV? All those war shows and movies? Yeah... they use some ongoing conflicts as well.
Either way, I hate to tell you, but MoH surely has a big enough audience to not grieve over one loss. Your boycotting is unreasonable and pretty much insignificant.
I wouldn't word everything like that, but was going to add about movies and other games like GTA: IV, same concept. What Jesse says is very true!
