I was once again browsing through internet trying to solve probably the most common issue of all. Getting music that I paid for to my PlayStation for free and legally. I happen to find this software that does exactly that and since it took me forever to find a program that doesn't make me pay to use it, didn't record it to crap quality, and didn't infest my computer viruses I feel that it would be acceptable to post this.
The program is called
You must login or register to view this content.
To download it from the homepage, look at the top menu and then choose download, it will download after clicking on the link.
It is a free program
What this has basically turned into (I saw a video of an early version that just converted to .mp3) is a media managing program that converts all songs transfered to any dev
However the program has gotten more professional and a little more complex. After scanning it with a virus scanner to get rid of your suspicion of malware, spyware, the normal precautions. This will scan for all of your media such as videos, music, and photos. If you are like me you are going to want to either temporarily change the name of the default pictures folder because you have 4,000+ images in there that will take for ever to load. Once you register for free, all you need is an e-mail, no temporary e-mail blocks for those afraid of spam, you will need to follow the link provided in the e-mail and it will register it immediately.
Now to get the music file to your PS3 you will need a thumbdrive, in the program just drag and drop your music files that you want over to the thumbdrive. This copies over all song information and album artwork while converting to MP3. It will not copy a song that requires itunes plus to be moved, you will have to buy the plus version of the song then transfer.
After all your music is on your drive just plug it into your PS3 and select import.

Also for those looking for the PS3 YouTube in HD I would like to say it out right now that it did stream in HD until after FW3.40 and the author is currently trying to get it working again.
