(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was playing my pS3 online today..When suddenly it just shut down..I tried to turn it back on but it just shut down again..I turn the ps3 on and it nearly goes into the menu but the light turns Light Green and then it shuts down..The light does not turn yellow (Was making it clear,Its not the Yellow Light Of Death)..I've un-plugged the ps3 for the night and hopefully it might work in the morning..Anybidy know why this is happening/..Has this happened to anyone before?...+REP will be given to anybody who can help...Much appreciated,

You could try to do a reset. Hold the power button on till it beeps then try and restart your ps3.

Maybe you got the green light of death?

Thank You..I'm going to try everything that everyone is suggesting,Because I cannot afford a new PS3...If I did have to buy a new ps3..I'd probably buy a cheap xbox off ebay or something..Just to keep me going =P

Does your blue light come on (if no) then your bluray drive is dead.

What Blue light?...This has happened before.but it came back on those times it will not come back on this time..I don't know why..

sorry cuz but you bluray drive has failed 100% i make my living on fixing electronics

this happened to my buddy, well sounds like what happened to hiz, there was a short in his power cable his system would turn on but didn't wanna stay on
