Go into a custom level at The Moon and create an electrified object
Get out of create mode and go into play mode.
touch the object with your sackboy to get electrocuited
while dying quickly enter playmode through the start menu

Your end result should be that your sackboy has a new skin which looks like the Skeleton skin from the Canyons level, but it will be brightly lit.

Your method did not work for me but this method did:

1.) Go into create mode
2.) Touch electified object
3.) Pause and Turn off your controller
4.) Wait till a message comes up saying "Press PS button to play"
5.) Turn your controller back on

If done right you will have the glowing skeleton costume.

Note - If it doesn't work then you didn't time the pause right, The timing of your pause has to be exactly when it flashes and shows sackboys skeleton for it to work.
