I bought the summerhouse the other day and i was putting down some furniture. I put a table down and then I put a chair and pushed the chair as close to the table as possible. I then sat on the chair but when I tried to stand up, there was no room for my player to stand up so he shot up in the air. This works nearly every time as long as the chair is close enough to the table.
