Okay so my god damn internet would time out randomly. I would be playing MW2 & it boots me out, freezes a few seconds, & the connection may or may not work. If it doesn't reconnect (internet) I'd have to reset the modem.

At first, I thought it was the old modem I had, but then I got a new one hooked up. Both are the Motorola Surfboard. It still happens!

So please, if anyone out there knows a lot about internet connections & whatnot, help me!

Additional Details:

- Internet speed is 18 mbps
- When disconnects and/or times out, the lights on tye modem (Receive or Send) blinks & then tries to reconnect
- Internet company is Comcast
- Live in California, U.S.

Go to pingtest.net and find out what your ping is,
In some cases your internet speeds are very good but the ping is high,
If it is high I recommend you contact your ISP

Just tested it:

46 ms ping, 31 ms jitter, is that good?
