Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has expressed the company’s surprise that Sony has yet to lower the price of the PlayStation 3, noting the expects the Japanese console manufacturer to reduce the cost of its black behemoth within the "next couple of months."
“We absolutely expect the PS3 price drop to happen in the next couple of months,” Greenberg told Edge, adding, “We’re frankly surprised it’s taken this long. … I would expect they’d have to move on price, sooner than later, for sure.”
Despite this, Sony seems content with sticking to its current price tag, with SCEE’s David Reeves recently announcing that profitability within the firms PlayStation Division is of paramount importance.
well, this is the biggest thing also that 360 came before ps3, but one of main reasons why people pick 360 over ps3, but other than that, good because some people who got the ps3 when it 1st came out they might need a replacement.
