Still unsure if you should pre-order Killzone 2 from GameStop in order to procure your copy of a Killzone 2 demo ahead of the title's launch? Your decision may have just gotten a heck of a lot easier as Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has confirmed that the PlayStation Store will not receive a demo of the title until after the game has hit retail shelves. With that said, the idea of getting your hands on the game a couple of weeks earlier is starting to seem a lot tastier.

According to an SCEA statement, "The demo will be available on the PSN after the game ships but only through GameStop until then."

Codes can be expected to become active roughly around February 4 or so. If you decide to pre-order the title online, expect the code to hit your Inbox during that time period. Otherwise, head to your local GameStop in about a week in order to get your hands on a hot commodity.

This is a great opportunity for those who missed out on the beta to see what all the fuss was about. Plus, the USD 5 you throw down to pre-order is going to go to the purchase of the game anyways, right?
