"Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Batman: Arkham City as the title for its highly-anticipated follow-up to the award-winning, critically acclaimed hit Batman: Arkham Asylum, which is apparently slated for a multi-platform release in Autumn 2011.

Along with the announcement of the official name and target release window comes an updated description of the game:

i just hope this game is at least as good as the first as otherwise it could be a real disappointment.

cant freaken wait...they said they will most likely include more of the batmobile!!! i can see myself driving through the streets of arkham in one of the most badass vehicles of all time

The first scenes involve Batman breaking into the city to save Catwoman from Two Face

This is gonna be epic. Cannot wait
