You had any problems with Left 4 Dead on PC? I haven't. Sure some of you have, though, so you'll be heartened to hear that a patch for the game will be out this week.

That's according to developer Chet Faliszek, at any rate, who's been posting on the game's forums. Seems "this patch got larger than we would have liked and that really snowballed the time it is taking", and that "the patch should be out this week".

So long as it adds some more maps to versus modes - and doesn't render the game unplayable like the last game I patched via Steam - we'll all be OK!
