This 2nd vid is to show how to look at each word rather than how to find the password.

Basically, the first vid is to show how to use process of elimination.

If your first choice is a word ending in -ing and it says 3+/7 are correct, you've just eliminated ALL the other words not ending in -ing.

If your first choice is a word ending in -ing and it says 2/7 or 1/7 are correct, then you've just eliminated all of the words ending in -ing.

Here's a list of random words:

Now say I choose TALKING first. It gives me 3/7 correct. Good chances that it ends in -ing. So now forget about ALL the other words that don't end in -ing.

Now I choose POOPING because I see that if the 3/7 letters correct in TALKING are ING at the end, then that means TALK- can't match up with the first four letters of any word ending in -ing.

So the words:WAITING, SUCKING, and FARTING are not the password.

TALKING
WAITING

TALKING
SUCKING

TALKING
FARTING

So now I chose POOPING and it gave me 4/7 correct, which is confirming that -ing is the ending of the password.

Now I choose FLOWING and it gives me 6/7 correct. Now we're real close. Now what word has 6/7 letters lined up with FLOWING in the list?

The only word up there with 6/7 letters in common with FLOWING is BLOWING.

FLOWING
BLOWING

BLOWING is the password!

I hope this helped and don't be afraid to practice by saving right before you start hacking, just so you can load that save to try again.

It's fun to use in VATS but can be inaccurate at long range. That problem will be solved when you find more of the same schematics. Each time you find the Railway Rifle schematics, the better the weapon will be after you make it.

Though, if you find your first schematic for a certain weapon, and then you make that weapon. And then find ANOTHER schematic of that same weapon, and then make a second one, then the first gun you made will be less efficient than the one that you made while you were possessing two of the same schematics.

There is also another strategy:

Instead of trying to find the most correct, try picking weird words. If they are 1/x correct or 0/x correct, then you just find the word that has 1/x or 0/x letters in common with the word you picked. So if you pick a word and it says 0/7 correct, then look for another word that doesn't line up with your first word at all.
