This is a full in depth preview of the new realse coming to PC,XBOX and PS3. MAFIA 2 I have tryed to make this thread as easy as possible to get around and this has taking my own time. The First Mafia Game- The first Mafia game (Mafai: The city of lost heaven) showed promise but failed to eclipse its crime-sim rivals. Such as God father 2 and Grand Theft auto. The game was developed by a Chez based company, Illusion Softworks and published by gathering of developers. The Game allowed you to be a criminal and complete missions to get further into the game. Mafia 2 will follow a same storyline to this one. As of march 2008 mafia:the city of lost heaven sold 2 million copies world wide. The mafai storyline consisted of driving, races and shooting. This game is also a third person shooter.

The plot: In Mafia:The city of lost heaven was based in 1930's. It was based in lost heaven which is New York city, Chicago and parts of new jersey at the same time. The game started out with the protagonist Tommy Angelo Exiting a train and entering a diner. He then sits with a police officer and tells him about his mafioso. The player then takes the role of tommy as a taxi driver in the streets of lost heaven. He then becomes in a car chase with mobsters. Through the story he kills one of the top mobsters and becomes a driver for another family. Through the end of the story he rises up in ranks.

The game was announced in 2007 and is due for realese on PS3, XBOX and Microsoft windows.Setting: The game will be set from 1945 to 1957 In empire bay.Which is the nickname for New York (Empire State) a fictional sity based on sanfranisco and New york city. With some fetures from Chicago and Detroit. The game will feture a completly open ended map area with over 10 square miles. No restricions are set at the start of the game. There will also be around 50 vehicles in the game.Guns: Many Guns Will return from the first mafia such as the thompson M1928, the colt 1911 and a pump action shotgun. Some new guns will be the MP40, M3 Grease Gun and the MP28. Also there are rumors that the MG42 will be fetured.

There is two ways you can act in the game. You can act viloent such as breaking into a car by smashing the window or you can be more sneaky and pick lock it. The checkpoint system has been overhauled and a new control system allows you to hide around objects and then come out and shoot them. 2k Games also reaveled the ps3 version of the game lacks some graphic deatail such as grass and blood???

Mafia 2 is a drama which chronicles the world war 2 veteran Vito Scalette, as the game progresses a man called vito will join a crime family and become a made man.
The story begins a man called vito returning home from world war 2. Vito had joined the u.s army so he doesn't have to serve time behind bars for a robbery. He then discovered his father died and left his family in a $2000 debt. He then quickly return with his friend Joe Barbaro and they become in a life of crime. They then meet people along the way such as mechanic and do jobs for each other.

The Game consist of over 2 hours in game cutscenes and has a screenplay of over 700 pages.

My thoughts on demo

I Thought the demo was great. I loved everything about it. the driving, shooting and graphics is just what i wanted. The demo is a mission called the "The Betrayal Of Jimmy". You have to go and kill a big fat man but he runs away inside a building. You then have to shoot your way through the building. In the end you go to shoot him but he shoots one of your mates in the leg. So you Kill the fat bloke and have to rush your mate to some where safe. As your a driving to some where safe theres a road block. The game then says to be continued and goes off

My thoughts are that Mafia 2 will be a great game and can be as good as grand theft auto and god father 2. I hope you enjoyed reading and this took me over an hour so +rep would be aprecaited.
