These are used for PCs and will expel air to the back of the PS3 just like the normal fans, i bought one and have noticed increased cooling and a quieter PS3. They add a good look the the PS3 and won't add any extra room on the side of your PS3. Just place your PS3 on top of the cooler like a laptop and it works. They are cheap and easy to find. *make sure the one you get is USB 2.0 plug powered*

I bought one of those off of Ebay around 3 weeks ago for $7 bucks it does work and the fan is very quite I just wish the Fan was stronger but for $7 bucks what more can you ask for. :y:
