So I'm letting it sit right now for a while, I'll try turning it back on at around 9:30 or so, but if it really is fried, then I may be going for an Xbox 360... All of my friends have one, and I have long been wanting one since it seems to get all the best things first, and has better features.

I don't know though, I'll have to see what happens with my PS3, and then look into both of my options. But this may be goodbye to my PS3 It's a sad day, I've had a PS3 since about 2 months after it came out, and have been a Sony fan since the PS1 days. It's sad to think I may be going to Xbox.

the xbox doesnt have better. feature. ( i have a ps3 ) they both have pretty much the same features. just saying.

I'm sorry to hear that you got YLOD. Hopefully it will work again. There are two options I can think of that involve a PS3 if you cannot fix yours. 1) You can buy a refurbished one from Sony by calling them but I do not know how much that is. 2) You can take it to a shop and see if they can fix it. However, if you do choose to get a 360, I wish you the best of luck with it.

Personally, I like the PS3 better. If I may ask, what features do you like about the Xbox, besides your friends owning it, that the PS3 doesn't have?

But Xbox has cross-game chat, and all of my friends play on the Xbox, so I would be able to play with my friends. I don't know, I'll research Xbox a little, and see if it is worth it, but I'm hoping I can just keep my PS3!

But all of my friends have PS3, and it's only $50 a year (correct me if I'm wrong) and that's not too bad, and all of my friends do play on Xbox so I'd be able to play with them.
