Alright, ive done tons of times with the cod waw map packs so here is how you do it:
1. create a new user and use the account info on that user
2. go to the psn store downloads and download it
3. when the download begins, choose "download in background"
4. as long as you hit "download in background", the download will stay in your "downloads on the ps3
5. you can then proceed to sign in to another account, and see that it is still downloading in the "downloads" section
