SONY has got to be leading the way for new technology if it doesn't exist they will make it come to fruition. I don't know if the PS4 is anywhere in the near future as SONY said the "PS MOVE" is meant to pump at least 5 more years into the PS3 but if that fails the PS4 might very well be around the corner sayyyy Christmas time 2012. :y:

something that super-exceeds a blu-ray disc? woah that's insane, it holds 25 gigs and they are planning to go with something as as much as 6TB...holy crap 6 terabytes? omg:wtf: that's an insane amount of info for a game, well i understand all the new contents, like 3D, true HD and audio, but damn that's a lot of space and i bet the price of the games are going to skyrocket because of the new disc they are going to use. the ps3 was pretty secure the way it was but guess with a lot more space they can improve the security on the games and make it virtually impossible to hack or any kind of modding. whew, this is going to be an interesting ride with Sony as the years come. but thanks for the info though, gotta keep us updated with this one. -bows-

Well look at the PS2 it had a 10 year life span and they released a new console before it was up.. They will just release the PS4 and over lap it with the PS3
