All PS fans would know that the PlayStation Move is now less than a month to be released, and it seems as if some Sony execs are already occupied starting to run expectations. Sony Computer Entertainment senior vice President Ray Maguire compared the Move’s launch to that of the Eye Toy.
Maguire told Eurogamer:
“Exactly as with Eye Toy in the PS2 days, it’s a product that needs to be sampled. You need to get your hands on it. You need to understand it. You need to try it.” Maguire also said that he expects sales to grow as word of mouth spreads.
On the other side, Sony’s Kaz Hirai seems to make effectively ruled dated a download-sole future suitable the unavoidable PS4. He said in an interview with MCV that: “digital future is over ten years away…we do business in parts of the world where network infrastructure isn’t as robust as one would hope,” and “here’s always going to be requirement for a business of our size and scope to have a physical medium.”
No guarantee if that also applies to Sony’s following handhelds as well.

Yeah deffo as im sure it will be a beast of a machine. However I think it will be a good while off before its on sale. There is probably a working version of a ps4 sitting on sonys shelf somewhere in the world at the moment. But until microsoft (or another rival console) is officially announced then sony are going to continue to make the ps4 better in order to try outdo the competition, and vice versa.
