According to Sony Computer Entertainment UK PR Manager David Wilson, the PlayStation 3 is the only console on the market powerful enough to deliver a title as ground-breaking in nature as Guerrilla Games' hotly anticipated Killzone 2.

"Killzone 2 has been a long time in the making, and best showcases why PlayStation 3 is the only console powerful enough to deliver a ground-breaking title of this nature" said Wilson.

The comment comes following an announcement from the Official PlayStation Magazine UK (via Future Publishing) regarding its forthcoming Killzone 2 collector’s edition issue, which will include the first official review of the PS3 exclusive shooter.

Due to hit stands January 20, the magazine will include a holographic wallet, which has an image of a Helghast trooper on it, and it also “shifts colour as the light catches it.”

“Killzone 2 is without doubt the best looking game on the PlayStation 3, and we wanted to come up with a treatment that mirrored the visual voodoo which the development team at Guerrilla Games has pulled off,” said Tim Clark, Editor in Chief of Official PlayStation Magazine UK.
