so this update basically just takes away the use of jailbreak?

I wonder if there's anyone out there willing to be the guinea pig that has jailbreak and updates to 3.42 to see if it still works.

Yes another site confirmed that all forms of jailbreak were disabled in the update.

Any chance this UPDATE is just to take a reading of your system to have something to compare it too such as a before PSJB and After PSJB so it knows if something is different when you sign onto PSN ??? I'm guessing this could be plausible and totally up SONY'S ally.
