LoL I Think it's a fake LoL Steam need for Pc, for the Ps3 there's the Psn.

At E3 2010 Valve announced that the features of its Steamworks system will be coming to the PS3 version of Portal 2. That's a step towards the possibility of Steam on the PS3.

EDIT: Hopefully, we'll see the Left 4 Dead games being ported to PS3 in the near future.

Sony Have Been Independant with the ps3 letting very few companies be apart of it. They are put under enough presure with PsJailbrake. They are very unlikely to list another dodgy programme onto the server because Steam uses A simple Client >Command< Server Equasion. With PsJailbreak's possiblities to run open source files and custom firmware. Hackers could potentially get free games putting sony under even more presssure

Steam full on won't come due to the closed nature of consoles. Why give another company your hardware and you don't get a share of the money they make ?
