So Sony seems to be staying on top of all the hacking/exploiting going on, clearly proving that they are ready to fight us with their 3.41 update, now comes their 3.50 update, most assumed that it would fix the whole MW2 modded patch exploit but truly it does not.

Most believe that all hacks/jailbreak exploits have been fixed with this update, it truly is not that way, I have recieved confirmation that if you update you and your MW2 patch are safe and sound.
Everybody seems to be jumping to the conclusion that Sony is trying to fix this hacking problem as fast as they can, one can really only find out after updating if it truly is a patch and an end to MW2 lobbies.
Since the PSJB came out, the 3.41 patch came out and now 3.50 people seem to be assuming it is a fix to the MW2 lobbies, really it is not so don't worry my friends, your source of income is perfectly safe, the FW update is for 3D features on playstation among other things, don't worry, be happy, cause every little thing is gonna be alright =D.

If it is gonna be patched, is gonna be by IW with a patch, and not by Sony with a FW

Sony could easily patch it. All they would need to do is change where the directory is stored for the patch in the update. Then when you update your PS3 with the hacked patch it wont be read from the old directory but from the new one. So no more hacked patch. But that could possibly take a long time to do, But what I'd like to know is can the transfering of patches still be accomplished ?

Alright let me get this straight, all they can patch is things that has to do with hacking the PS3 (like jailbreak) they CAN'T mess with any of the gamesaves you have in your PS3, even though they are about to do it, it wouldn't work, because IW have the patch and tools to patch that. Again, they cannot edit/patch gamesaves that you already have in your PS3, they can't mess with your saves, those yours, just like music, if your downloading music from internet without actually buying the album, they won't just go and delete you the music or put it that can you use it simple because is not the right thing.

There will be 2 different opinions on this though,
1- Boosters with 2 PS3's or more will be high in the leaderboards, but then you get the people who hack leaderboards because they will never get near people like nate LJ barrynut and so on..
2- People WILL get bored of the game eventually, just like MW2 but then the Infected Lobbies and stuff came out and people started playing it again ....
IMO i hope there is no chance of a prestiege hack or leaderboard hack,, BUT for all challenges I HOPE THERE IS[/COLOR]

I thought as much. The MW2 modded patch exploit will only be hindered when/if Infinity Ward release a new patch and people are forced to bypass it.

You clearly don't understand what I'm saying. Sony can do whatever they like and they proved that they can do whatever they like by removing the otherOS option. If they feel the need to change the directory from where the patch is stored then they will do that if they think its going to be a big problem with game hacking and so on. But I highly doubt they will do that.
