(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sony put it up there for a reason, and now they've taken it off?

What? That's a little odd.

Well, surely Sony could of knew this. But putting other OS on the ps3, they had to of know the odds and ends people were going to do, so why put it on the ps3 just to take it off later?

It was removed to fix a hole

The only problem was that once the hole was found , people used it for jailbreak the weakness anyway.
If sony had never allowed the weakness in the otherOS hack would have been alot harder and taken alot longer. Maybe never have happened

Wait...what?
I'm pretty sure that this was patched because people could run their own codes if they had installed a linux operating system.

This was the theory, from my understanding, that many people believed and still believe that allowed hunter128 and theunkn0wn to make challenge lobbies before PSJailbreak was released.

sony removed it as they started to fear it would open doors to hacker which i beleive it did Smile so sony closed that door to stop it.
