I can blissfully be playing CoSad AwesomeWaW bashin' noobs then I get a message from a friend. I open the crossbar, press triangle on there names, click message list, open the message and BAM its got me again. It just stops repsonding. I have the message window open and it's readable. If i keep my finger on the ps button then i can quit game etc. but i just can't get rid of the message. The pad jus doesnt seem to respond.

Although this doesnt always happen. It does it alot!!!

please don't flame me I'm new to the forums!!

Yeah, this happens to me too, it's not your fault I think, it's happening to loads of people. It's really annoying and there's really no way to get rid of it unless you quit the game, sometimes it does work but then when you get to the sending message part the XMB just closes and you're stuck with the screen you're on.

happened to me a while back when the PS was freezin but that was taken care of with the update .. ???????

Uhu that's a common bug in the PS3's in-game XMB.Sadly there's no cure but just try and not access it when a game is loading or when a game online is being created.

iv goten that but is casual i dont how to fix without quiting the game or turning off ur ps3

First off; it happens to me allot, and second-hulk is righ the only way of fixing it is quiting the game or turning off ur ps3
