(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Guys. Here is a thread where you can come to, and talk about the guns in the game :carling:

My personal favorite right now is the MP7, you can use it on both teams, you get a whole lot of ammo with the extra magazine, it shoots fast, and does pretty good damage Dancing I got to level 7 or 8 with it, in just about 2-3 hours of play, along with level 3 on both Rifleman, and Sniper.

As far as guns go, I really like the Shottys. When combined with the slugs and a steady hand, you can take down alot of people who are stupid enough to take you on frontal. I am really not impressed with the M16 or the M60, and try to stay away from those. I also really like the AKS-74U when you use a RDS. I got about 7 kills with it one time, which is alot considering I die often in this game. I also
like how they brought back the sniper rifles from BFBC2; I was a big fan of the SV-98. However, if I can't unlock a scope with more zoom later on, I will be dissapointed. I wasn't impressed how they made the Snaiperskaya Vintovka Dragunov (SVD) a combat rifle though. It's name means Sniper Rifle Dragon, so why make it a combat rifle?
Overall I hope they release more guns as DLC and fix some of the frame-rate issues and stuff.

What does "Veteran" do to your gun? All it does for me is change the camo, I think. Now that I've unlocked more, I really like my M16 with RDS, Silencer, and OTA; the same setup with the F2000 and P90 is really nice. I'm still kind of undecided on my premiere guns though, I feel like there is just, something missing.

I can't tell a difference between veteran and regular versions. But, here is how my setup goes....

Assault: M60 w/ red dot, stock barrell, and HP ammo or extra mags. I think I put the extra mags on the veteran version and the HP on the regular. At close to short-mid range you just hold R1 to win, don't burst fire with this gun. I don't even mess with the M16 anymore. And when you have an ammo upgrade like FMJ or Armor Piercing rounds this thing is unstoppable up close. If I have a guy to far for the M60's range I just switch to my pistol to get him.

Spec Ops: M4A1 just the same as the assault loadout but with the ACOG instead of the Red Dot. With controled or burst firing I can do anything with this gun except kill more than 4 or 5 people. I can snipe with it if their movement isn't too eratic as well. This gun beats the M16 hands down.

Sniper: Bolt action with stock barrell and HP scope. I never really can tell a difference with HP ammo on it. So, I usually just switch it up like the previous two.

You can trust my recommendations by the way. On PS3 I was top 10 in score and kills tonight and top100 in skill. I rank even higher if you translate my stats to 360. I don't give my PSN or gamertag on this site, so I'm not even bragging.

The problem a lot of you will have is that the gun your trying to use is awesome some times and then not worth a crap a minute later. It's because the enemy team will have flak jackets and ammo upgrades. Sometimes you won't even notice you have upgrades and you will be amazed at your gun's newfound awesomeness.

The best time to judge a gun's effectiveness is at the beginning of rounds. Once the other team starts hitting scoring chains you never know if they have flak jackets and the like. But, it will tell you in the screen where it shows who killed you and what they killed you with. It list the "perks" that person has at the time he killed you.

So, a lot of the time I will just pick the class with extra ammo and give myself and my team FMJ instead of calling the artillery. If I'm not getting many kills while sniping then I definitely take the FMJ.

My advice would be to try what I do and then go from there. It works great for me as I hardly ever lose and am at the top of the leaderboards. My next piece of advice is don't continue to use a crappy gun because it worked awesome for you one time and you just want to "make" it be awesome for you again. And don't not use a good gun because you got destroyed by somebody else one time.

I mean, I hated the M60 at first and couldn't kill a thing with it. I dominate with everything else but couldn't get it to do for me what it seemed like it did for others. It's because I was trying to burst fire it like it was an assault rifle. I chose it on accident one time and had to play with it. I turned a corner on 6 guys and mowed them all down. I realized what I did different and have been tweaking my style with it ever since.
