Even though I exploit the M24 very very badly, I'm frustrated with it as well. I wish they would make sniping on this game like BC2. Only a headshot is a one hitter would really help to cut down on it a lot.
But, I hope that with me exploiting it like I do they will dumb it down in an update here soon. I have yet to have it happen to me, but once I get my first Tommy while sniping you might as well just forfeit the match. I'll have at least three if I get my first by the second objective being taken on offense or defense. I've gotten four Tommy's in one game and five in one already. The most I've ever gotten not sniping is two. That screams "overpowered." I can only imagine that the kids on the other team were pissed, I know I would have been.
So, I'm going to keep exploiting it until they fix it. I imagine they will since they nerfed the choppers in BC2. Although, I wish they would have left me alone with that one.
I read an article from one of the devs about how this game was supposed to be more fun and that the constant kill streaks coming down like they do in MW2 just wouldn't happen. Well, I get at least one Tommy every couple of games. And I usually start piling them on once I get the first. So, I imagine they will do something about it. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be doing this.
