*** You need 2 controllers and 2 accounts to do this... only need one Xbox Live gold accoount***

set controller 1 as your main account/login
set controller 2 as your non xbox live gold login.


with contoller 2 goto MY NHL 09, then goto NHL 09 profile management
where you see your non gold account(should be 2nd on the list) make that one the lead account.

once that is the lead account, make controller 1/main account the lead. once that is the lead sign out of controller 2.

Then back out to main screen and goto performance tracker---edit pro and then to edit attributes.

now you get points based on what card you have
i here legend gives 20pts, superstar 14,vertern 11, 7 then 4
** if you don't sign off controller 2 the points won't show up until you do.

Is there any limitations to the stat points you get that would reset you to a baseline for the game? For instance taking a Defensive DMan to 99 deking or something like that. Or if you can't go over the total limit (like if your a legend, 20 + 20 + 20 = 60).. could i put all 60 into offense?
