Some digital cameras or mp3 players use the same connection as the ps3 charger. So have a look at them. I use a camera cable just for the fact it's a lot longer and is a better way of plug in and play lol.

My samsung HD cam uses the same lead so does a motorolla phone and some nokia usb devices.

Some equipment like phones and camera's use the same lead but other than that there is no other way besides buying a new lead.

Nope. Although some phone chargers ect. do have the same connection the volts that those chargers supply is not the same as the ps3 controller requires to charge, but if you do find your charger or buy a new one you can charge your controller via you PC.

You can't charge without a charger.But you can charge your controller at Pc with a normal USB cable

if you look around your house, you'll probably find the same cable for a diff. device, alot of devices use the same mini-usb cable
