all beta tests are random. To increase your chances, you can post alot on the ps forums, and get known. You may get an invitation to the GAP which greatly increases your chances. As well, if you are an outstanding member in one of the game sections, developers often have lists of people that they will request to be admitted into the beta.

No the way i became a senior beta tester. I spent loads of money on the PS store , went on my ps3 all the time. And i was pretty good online.So then i received a invite to Resistance 2 online , then Killzone 2 , LBP and others.

for lbp I got it off ign same with resistance 2 and I got COD5 by pre-ordering it just really depends on if u know what sites to go to and being active on the ps forums
