(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i was just at deer camp, And i stopped by my cousins house and play mw2 a bit, then went home, and while at his house instead of using the color cords to hook up to the tv i used a HDMI. I get back home and everything is hooked up right but the video or the sound won't work.. Is it because of the HDMI? or did i grab his PS2 cords on accident?

if your using standard av cables you may need to boot your ps3 by holding the button or whatever, it prolly is in hd and if your playing on a SD tv it wont come up when in HD mode.

ahh ok, So the AV cables shouldn't matter if they're originally from a ps2?

Moved to questions.

The AV cables are the same for PS2/3. Hold the power button for 5 seconds I think, and it will reset the display settings.

Just do what Dreamy said.
Turn it on, while pressing the power button hold it for about 5-7 seconds it should make a 2nd beep, then the display should come up. Had to do it for my ps3 when i switched TV's.
