(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A new Elder Scroll!

A new report from Eurogamer confirms, not only the making of a new Elder scrolls but also that voice acting for the characters in the game is currently happening!

At the moment it looks like its going to be a Direct sequel to the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which is the latest game in the now 16-years-old Elder Scrolls series and by itself one of the better RPGs for PC and consoles. "I can say it is on the existing platforms, which we're really happy with. You almost feel like you have a new console when you see the game."
-Eurogamer Denmark.

Executive producer Todd Howard said in an interview with Eurogamer at that the current title will be announced soon, but he couldn't say exactly when. He claim that the titel and reliease date might change and that he dont want to disappoint people.
Eurogamer then adds- "The sequel to Oblivion is coming, we can hereby confirm without hesitation. It's been a while since 2006, hasn't it?"

I dont know about you guys but i jumped of exitement when i first saw the Eurogamer raport!

Finally a new Scroll!!!

I'm very skeptical towards this piece of information. If it happened to be a direct sequel to the forth installment in the series it would most likely be in cyrodil which isn't very likely seeing as no one would want to play on the same map with the same cities as would be the case since the cities have existed since before the games themselves.

That said, the next game is coming, but Todd Howard did say that they didn't want to announce the game before they had something mind-blowing to show... Before that happens, I'm staying skeptical to any news such as these.

Most people over at the elderscrolls forum also believe that the game will be in skyrim or summerset isle.

I also wondered why they would make a direct sequel, but its not said that it have to be in cyrodil. The Oblivion gates can probebly show up anywhere. I know Skyrim and summerset isle is much roumered about beeing in the next TES, and it might as good be. Eurogamer have good sources. This time a bethesda worker.

We need to think what a direct sequel can mean, same story new region? same region new story? Can be a mix.

I would hope that it means a similar story but different location. But I've gotta say that I still hope the story has nothing to do with oblivion gates, because frankly, oblivions MQ was the least exiting thing in the game.

But I sure am looking forward to when Todd Howard finally announces this title for real with some awesome pictures, I remember I got chills when they first showed oblivion, TES5 is gonna rock!

I cannot wait! I'm so stoked for this to be released. I have the Original and GOTY copy of TES4. Oblivion is the best game I have ever played in my life. I absolutely love everything about it. If there is a collectors edition of this game I am definitely getting it!

Both PS3 and XBOX360. Most of my time was spent on PS3 tho.

Do a barrel roll!
Actually can't wait for this! It would be good if they were to make it separately for PS3 and Xbox360 as if it were made PS3 exclusive I think we would be looking at probably the best game ever made. Sadly, this is obviously too much to ask :( Nevertheless it will be an amazing game.
