Well if your wondering if a code is real of course go and check in the psn store.But also before going to the store look at the code the one i got today was APL2-6NBL-3NML. Okay so look at the code. If the 7th digit is not a B the code is fake try this on the next PSN card you get.

But couldn't someone just put in the B as the seventh digit?

Yes but if your in the middle of a game and someone sends you a code still just look if there isnt a B then dont waste your time gonig check it in the PSN store it wont work. This is just a way to know if the code is fake right off the back next time you get a card look at it.

Wow. I would have never guessed this. Thanks. Also, im not trying to steal your thread or anything but, I got a message on psn like a month ago from a random ass person. I have no clue who it was but the message had a psn card code in it. So I tried it out and it turns out that the code was worth $50!!!!!! But, everytime I pressed X to add the funds to my account, it said, "Error, please contact Sony" or some shit like that. Lol. Point is, the code has $50 on it but it wont let me add the funds to my account. Anyone know why? And I emailed Sony about it and they want a picture of the receipt with the psn card but I dont have a receipt....

Yes i have recieved this too if you look at that code look there is a B but that code someone stole from the store and they codes dont actually work until purchased so its just a real code that isnt verified

He's right. I just looked at an old PSN card from a few months ago. 7th digit is B.
