(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); you need to listen carefully first you have to turn your ps3 from the back(the switch) put both fingers in the eject and power button(keep them there dont remove them) now turn it on from the back (wait 5 seconds then release) you will hear the ps3 run and may clean it do this daily to pervent ps3 problems!!

Actually it depends on which playstion you have, the fat one or the slim, for the fat one you must:
Shut power off from the back switch, then simply hold the eject button then turn the power on from the back switch then you'll hear the fans boot up and blast uncontrollably!!!!

and i just found this out the other day:
for slim models you must unplug the playstation then before plugging it back in you must also hold the eject button down then plug the system in then boom the fans go crazy here too!!!

for maximum effect take a vacuum to every place where there is a hole in your playstation(the air ducts). make sure your console is shut off to avoid electrostatic charges affecting its capabilities.

Using A Vacuum is better to take out the dust,But when your doing that you only do that like once a month or just a Vacuum

I tried this on the fat ps3.... before ylod hit and I even called tech support to see if this was even true but they said no....

You are an IDIOT :derp: if you put a vacuum up to ANY electronic device such as this. Vacuums create a large amount of static electricity which can kill your electronics. Use a can of air duster.

Not a good way to take dust out of your ps3 which will can break your system if you do it like once a week or daily...
